The changing nature of work and workforce
Whilst rates of ‘traditional’ occupational health problems continue to decline, those with a less clear biological cause, such as stress and musculoskeletal disorders remain on the rise.

Both the ways in which work is conducted, and the people that it is conducted by, are becoming increasingly diverse. As a nation we are far more likely to engage in discussion about health issues impacting on the mind and its health than in years gone by. With a wealth of information at our disposal on the internet, and high profile figures publicly supporting charities and causes to raise awareness, there has never been a better time to explore these issues. With ‘Dementia Action Week’ starting on 20 May, now seems like a good time to home in on the particular challenges of dementia.
